Crispin Cioe
Saxaphone
Crispin Cioe has been playing the saxophone and composing since
attending the University of Michigan, Berklee School of Music--and then
doing graduate studies at frat parties, bars, nightlclubs, concert stages,
arenas, stadia, and recording studios around the nation and the world.  He is
the co-creator of the brass and reed section The Uptown Horns and has
played on hundreds of albums, performed with pop superstars, produced
records, composed for film, and served as musical director for television
shows and the theater. In short, his career is quintessentially New York in its
breadth and scope. In fact, in 2002 he was nominated for one of the most
coveted and prestigious awards in the world of American Theater -- the
Drama Desk award for Best Music in a Play, for his work as Music Director of
the third play in a trilogy by author Charles Mee entitled True Love.

Over the past two years Crispin’s own band, Cracked Ice, has become  a
constantly in-demand party-music unit, performing at night clubs, corporate
events, and private affairs in the metro-NYC area, New England, the
Caribbean, and beyond.   Cracked Ice features several of Crispin’s long-time
musical compadres--all studio/touring stars on thier own--who come together
to raise the bar for musical entertainment at parties and events.

In the past year, Crispin has recorded with the bands Coldplay and the
Scissors Sisters (debut/2nd LPs).  In addition, he has performed/recorded
with a host of reknowned artists, including:
